Get To Know Purple

I love the color purple. It’s not too light or too dark, and it’s just that perfect shade between the cool blues and the hot reds.

So am I lukewarm? Far from it! My meandering thoughts take me to that special place where cool ideas meet hot reactions, the result of which is a level perspective on life as I live it.

I am a follower of Jesus, the creator of all color; the original master artist. He is my inspiration, my hope and reason for being. As such, my writings will be mostly about my life and walk with Him. Some of my writings have already been published in a women’s ministry newsletter and I am including them here. The others will be new thoughts and experiences as I go through them.

Being the thinker that I am, I write to prevent my head from exploding into a million bits and pieces. I dream of immortalizing my thoughts in the event of an Alzheimer’s disease onslaught or severe amnesia, God forbid! I get to travel a lot with my best friend and hubby and cherish both the ups and downs of every experience. We especially relish people-watching using our well-honed peripheral vision, not to be rude but to learn more about what makes them tick.

Our candid observations of both people and places have led to a compilation of comments and critiques (you may visit my other site by clicking on the link Goober Meanderings on my Blogroll), most of them helpful, some mere observations, and the rest my personal meandering thoughts based on my experiences and my Christian walk. Here’s keeping my fingers crossed, my thoughts busy and my eyes wide open! And may you all be blessed and encouraged by my purple thoughts.
